Researcher at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Bologna. He works in the field of oceanography and conducts his research on high-resolution ocean modelling. His main research interests are focused on ocean dynamics and especially the understanding of submesoscale processes (1-10km) in the ocean.

  • The research activities, carried out in collaboration with the group of Prof. Pierre F.J. Lermusiaux, concerned the analysis of the relocatable HOPS platform developed by the MIT team and its use for the study of circulation in the Bay of Massachusetts and in the Mid-Atlantic Bight region with high spatial resolution.
